Celebrating Narasimha Jayanti - The winning of Good Over Evil.

 Narasimha Jayanti is a Hindu celebration for the birth of Master Narasimha, one of the ten symbols of Ruler Vishnu. It is praised on the 14th day of the Hindu month of Vaishakh, which falls among April and May.


Master Narasimha is accepted to showed up as a half-man, half-lion to safeguard his enthusiast Prahlada from his malevolent and overbearing dad, Hiranyakashipu. This heavenly appearance of Master Narasimha is viewed as a huge occasion in Hindu stories, as it represents the victory of good over evil.


On the event of Narasimha Jayanti, enthusiasts across India offer supplications and perform different customs to look for the gifts of Narasimha. Sanctuaries devoted to Narasimha are adorned with blossoms and lights, and unique puja functions are coordinated.


In some parts of India, there are special parades where people dress up as lions and humans to represent Lord Narasimha. The festival is also celebrated with a lot of excitement in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, where it is called Narasimha Jayanti or Narasimha Chaturdashi.
